Quantum Software
All MACH-Series scanners come with the revolutionary Quantum software suite. Mekel’s unique QuantumScan and QuantumProcess software provides an advanced set of automated and manual image processing tools to ensure the best possible image quality and eliminate the need for rescans.
QuantumScan
QuantumScan enables quick and easy scanning of images from both positive and negative film. The intuitive capture software is designed to work seamlessly with Mekel Technology’s and Crowley’s MACH-Series microfiche and microfilm scanners. This combination ensures reliable and precise capture of full-fiche, aperture cards, or full-roll ribbons at exceptional resolution and remarkable speed.
QuantumProcess
QuantumProcess software is for extracting, processing, and saving image frames from the strip images produced by the Mekel and Crowley MACH-Series scanners. The software provides users with a wide range of tools to customize final images to meet specific requirements. It operates independently of the scanner, allowing projects to be processed on either a single PC or multiple PCs using distinct software licenses, thus freeing up the scanner for the next project.
Hybrid Approach
Crowley’s unique hybrid approach to microfilm scanning allows clients to outsource the digitization to Crowley’s Digitization Services branch and process the images in-house using QuantumProcess software.
